The presentation will initially provide a broad overview of the key consumer
services in this market area, and clearly show how the mobile/wireless device
provides value to the customer. It will showcase a number of key applications
including payment, transport and advertising. The presentation will then case study
some of the key trials and commercial deployments of these services along with high
level findings. Key assertions of the presentation are reinforced by consumer
insights based on customer research.
Jonathan Spencer is Head of Product Management for Orange/France Telecom in the UK.
Jonathan is currently the business lead for a variety of initiatives including
m-commerce, wireless payment and contactless (NFC), multimedia and data products,
and a range of billing and charging projects. Jonathan has extensive senior
marketing experience in both the mobile/wireless and financial services sectors
including roles with Vodafone, Bank of Ireland and Royal Bank of Scotland. Jonathan
is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and has an MBA from the
University of Bradford Business School.
